Yo! Podcast Without Honor and Humanity celebrates the quarter-century mark by revisiting two favorites of this podcast's storied history. Wolfguy's Kazuhiko Yamaguchi tells Sonny Chiba to wreck fools once again in Karate Warriors and Chih-Hung Kuei follows up Bewitched the notorious Boxer's Omen. Aside from sobering talk about Sonny Chiba tossing children and Bolo Yeung's tough tits, I also manage to squeeze in some rambling about Korean handball, meth-cooking high school teachers, the TIFF lineup, and an open-world yakuza video game. Well, howdy ya'll! Podcast Without Honor and Humanity is back covering two titans of their respective industries. Lau-Ching Wan gets into some illegal shenanigans in Too Many Ways to Be No. 1 and Kinji Fukusaku shows them kids who's the boss in The Triple Cross(Sonny Chiba included). Not only do I talk about upside-down cameras and Sonny's 'stache, I also spend appropriate time on an apology, hot coffee, TIFF, questionable pk's, and the passing of Yshio Harada. Greetings and salutations you lovely folk! Podcast Without Honor and Humanity is back with reviews of two movies renowned for their ability to sharpen your mind and mold your heart. Hideo Gosha embraces the antisocial in the Japanese chanbara-trash Bandits vs. Samurai Squadron(forgot to mention you can watch it online if you have Hulu+) and then I journey back to Hong Kong to review Rock on Fire, where you'll never look at boxing gloves the same way again. In addition to some talk about muddy rice paddies and inept doctor practices, I also take a sharp look at a hobo with a large weapon, questionable racial stereotypes, self-aware rubber, and the difference between remake and adaptation. Stimulating in the best possible way. Happy days, everybody! Podcast Without Honor and Humanity is back with a couple of doozies. First up is assassin madness in Japan's Hissatsu! Sure Death and then a hair stylist falls in love with two women while decapitating fools in Hong Kong's Mad Stylist. Aside from talk about death by earpick and fanny packs, there's substantial thoughts on flying knees, cock sauce, deaf pop idols, and Mystique's dialogue.
